A long-standing committee member of AUSIT's Victorian / Tasmanian branch, treasurer and Chinese - English professional translator, John Crone has assisted the branch in organising PD activities, including the national conferences, and has been instrumental in developing the Excellence Awards program since its inception.

David Connor, an accredited professional translator in many European languages, is one of the founding members and a former AUSIT Vic/Tas office bearer, who for many years served the translating and interpreting industry in a variety of roles.
