Three exclusive Professional Indemnity Insurances for AUSIT Members
As a membership benefit, it was arranged that three different firms are now offering their services at a reduced rate to AUSIT members.

1. Cover is worldwide excluding USA & Canada (USA & Canada can be considered where required but would have to be referred).
2.There is no limit for technical work.
3.The threshold amount of $50,000 is gross income for last 12 months.
4. Single policy for nominated members.
5. Limit of Indemnity $1,000,000 any one claim and $5,000,000 in the aggregate. (This limit would be shared amongst the members.)
6. Excess $1,000
7. Retroactive date: Inception for each individual Translator/Interpreter, but can be amended to start date of business subject to individually signed No Claims Declaration.
8. Starting date: 16 April. If you join later in the year, pro-rata reduction cannot apply: you still have to pay the full premium.
Premium: $352.00 for translators/interpreters with fee income less than $50,000
$528.00 for translators/interpreters with fee income greater than $50,000
